HomeZada has developed a number of leading security features to ensure your data is safe and secure. Your data is your information that we protect for you and we do not sell or give your data to other businesses for commercial purposes.
Security Features
Application Design
Users access their private and secure HomeZada account with a mobile, tablet or desktop device. No data is stored locally on any device as it is all stored in our secure hosted environment.
Application: Encryption in Transit
Every page within the entire HomeZada application encrypts the data as it moves between your device and our hosted environment. HomeZada uses TLS 1.2 / SSL SHA256 bit transport encryption.
Data: Encryption at Rest
All customer data including photos, documents, video, and data fields are encrypted when they are saved to storage. HomeZada uses AES256 bit encryption at rest for all customer data.
Physical Data Centers
HomeZada uses Amazon AWS as cloud hosting infrastructure provider. AWS is the world’s leading cloud provider and implements leading edge physical, logical, and process controls. Overview is here.
User Authentication
Users are required to enter a unique user name and password to access their account. Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an option available to each user for additional levels of security.
Password Policy
User passwords are required to be eight characters or longer and must contain 3 of the following 4 character types: Upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, or special characters.
Data Backups
HomeZada is configured for ongoing real time backups of customer data in multiple physical data centers. In addition, each user can export their home inventory data to local excel and zip files.
Ongoing Security Process
HomeZada has implemented various best practice security processes including intrusion detection, patch management, and restrictions on data access to only authorized personnel.
